Halloween in Stowmarket – some fantastic feedback

I was reading the East Anglian and I came across a letter from a reader:

Sir, Halloween brought many trick or treaters to my door. I was most impressed at how polite and cheerful the children were, wishing me a happy Halloween and thanking me for the small treat of sweets. Most had made a real effort at dressing for the occasion too – and they seemed pleased to have the door answered by a witch with an over familiar basset hound who thought the sweets should be coming her way! My thanks to parents, local schools and a police campaign for making this a night of fun rather than a begging fest to be endured.

Cuts to youth services!

Read this! A great little BBC article on the cuts to youth services. In light of the London riots and the high youth unemployment rates is cutting the youth service a good idea, could it be classed as neglect (as stated in the article) ?
